International Women's Day

Since 1911, March 8 has been International Women's Day. This arose because women started to stand up for their rights, for example in the field of work. In Belgium, the tradition of Women's Day was not established until 1972. Surely there is no better day to celebrate some of the greatest female artists of all time and some of Artfuse's female artists too!

Barbra Streisand

The female artist with just about the most gold, platinum and multi-platinum albums is Barbra Streisand. She was born in 1942 and has released more than sixty albums in total.

Diana Ross

Diana Ross was born in 1944 and became famous with the girl group The Supremes. After she left the group, she started a solo career and also sang beautiful duets with Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie, among others.

Whitney Houston

Whitney Houston was a real superstar, she could do everything: singing, acting, modeling,… According to Guinness World Records she is the singer with the most awards of all time. Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to her in 2012 at the age of only 48.

We also have a lot of female talent at Artfuse!

Marina Barskaya

Marina is a wonderful violinist. She moved to Belgium in 2009 and a year later she was already working with the Brussels Philharmonic.

Ina Rose

Ina is a true singer-songwriter. She enjoys writing music herself and has a beautiful individuality in her voice.

Marianne van Gemert

Under the name Mary-Ann, Marianne performs a repertoire ranging from boisterous swing to a touch of country and smoky blues.

These last 3 top women can all be booked for performances via our website!
