Diethard has a background as a classical cellist.
After taking classes in Antwerp, Ghent, Krefeld and Leuven, Diethard enrolled in 2005 at the Kunsthumaniora of the Lemmens Institute (LUCA). After obtaining his secondary diploma, Diethard moved to Maastricht after 2 years in higher education to further improve his skills. At that time, Diethard started his first music company, Chez-la-Main, with which he realized numerous performances at home and abroad, including flash mob performances for companies.
His development as an entrepreneur then led him to the United States, where he earned a master's degree in Arts Leadership and Administration from Syracuse University in New York State in 2017. In the following year, he spent 10 months as a street performer in New York's subway stations and parks; this as part of a project for his startup Artfuse.
Through his own experience as a musician and entrepreneur, he developed a huge passion for building solutions for musicians and music companies. This is how Artfuse was born: a platform for booking and organizing musical experiences that provides professional support for musicians and service providers in the sector and makes event management accessible for event organizers and customers.
Although Diethard has devoted himself fully to the projects with Artfuse, he still performs with great passion as a cellist in various formations and can also be found regularly in the recording studio.
