The quartet wants to distinguish itself with a professional approach and a strong musical personality. Their repertoire is very varied, with music from different styles and genres. At the same time, the musicians want to continuously improve themselves and push the boundaries of the repertoire and performance possibilities of the chamber music ensemble. In this they are assisted and coached by Henk Guittart, former member of the Schönberg Quartet.
The Eurasia Quartet regularly performs in Maastricht and at other locations in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. In January 2015, the quartet won masterclasses with the members of the renowned Storioni Trio at the Storioni competition for chamber music ensembles, and in 2016 they received the Henriëtte Hustinx Prize as the most promising ensemble of the Maastricht Conservatory.
- In 2020, Eurasia Quartet became a three-time winner of the international competition prize. In January 2020, the quartet won a silver medal at the Central International String Quartet Competition in Malta.
